Much of the paper used is created from cloth cuttings left from the manufacture of tee-shirts and undergarments and not trees!
World Paper also makes paper from jute and hemp and other interesting materials without cutting any trees whatsoever.
Alexandra's decades of work in India starting with a Fulbright Grant in 1985 has been largely responsible for a renaissance of traditional hand papermaking that employs thousands of artisans.
